Сryoablation is one of the promising minimally invasive methods for local treatment of malignant lung tumors. This
review presents current data on the physical principles and biological mechanisms of cryoablation, the technical aspects
of the procedure, as well as its clinical effectiveness and safety. Indicators of overall survival, local tumor control, and
complication rates in the treatment of primary and metastatic lung tumors are analyzed. Cryoablation is shown to provide
outcomes comparable to other local treatment modalities with a favorable safety profile. The advantages of the method
and its existing limitations are discussed.
