The history of the department begins in 1975, but the science of oncology in Bashkiria began to develop back in 1945. The Department of Oncology and Clinical Morphology continues to actively share its scientific achievements with a wide audience, which is confirmed by the popularity of their educational publications both in Russia and abroad. An important step in the informatization of medical education was the publication of the first electronic textbook on oncology in 2000. The department actively cooperates with international scientific centers and attracts famous scientists to exchange experience and knowledge. The main tasks of the department include training a new generation of oncologists, studying the root causes of cancer and introducing innovative treatment methods, which makes its work relevant and significant in the fight against cancer.
