In recent decades, there has been a steady increase in the incidence of skin melanoma worldwide. Further success is possible only on the basis of studying the biological features of the tumor process. Biopsy of the signaling lymph node (SLNB) is one of the most important prognostic factors in skin melanoma. However, like any diagnostic test, the conduct of SLNB has a number of limitations. Getting false negative biopsy results is one of them.
