The review analyzes contemporary methods of local control of malignant lung tumors, including surgical resection, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and percutaneous ablative techniques. Their oncological outcomes are compared in terms of overall, recurrence-free, and progression-free survival, local control rates of target lesions, and safety – both in primary non–small cell lung cancer and pulmonary metastatic disease.
