Unresolved issues and perspectives of anticancer drug therapy

This article is dedicated to the analysis of key challenges and future prospects in the development of chemotherapy and targeted therapy in oncology. The historical aspects of treatment methods and their limitations, such as tumor resistance and drug side effects, are reviewed. Additionally, potential approaches to enhancing the effectiveness of cancer therapy, based on advances in molecular biology and genetics, are described.
